Description
Crew G-15 on a journey in the fantastic Korolka Island looking for giant Korolka Rabbits.Actually planned to make it for the CGChallenge XIX - The Journey Begins but did not have the time to work on it...
But here it is now
Done in about 30+ hours in OC and PS2
Started a sketch with an idea on my mind. used a ref image for setup, however did a different pose and lighting. went on colouring in OC, switched to PS many times to correct colours.
here some details, wip and ref link.

They are on a expedition, this is a pretty unexplored continent, they search the giant Korolka rabbits....
I have a website, but it contains mainly pretty old crap, so that is why i am doing ned images for thenewport.I stoppedpainting for 8 months, moved to Thailand (from germany) and worked mailnly as a Photographer. Just felt like i needed abreak from my old Job. Was working many years in a game development Company, last Project was Aquanox Angels tears for PS2/X-Box

I REALLY appreciate the step-by-steps, too. Those are incredbly helpful to those of us who are novice painters (and those that just wonder, "How the hell did he do that?"
Great work. No crits.

Outstanding work!
I like the way you managed the light in this artwork, it's perfect. I don't think I can find any errors. Tha characters look very nice. One of the things that catches my attention is how you painted the ripples of the water and gave it some ilumination. Very great touch. Details are truly incredible. I just love this!

I would like to see a bit more depth (contrast, tone) in it though.Especially with the two animals (they look a bit flat on eachother).
